Equine Accommodations

Our barn offers individual stalls as well as surrounding corrals -- each with access to water.

Feed Natural native grasses envelop the area and we work hard to eliminate noxious weeds. You may purchase high quality oats and alfalfa bales from the Lodge or bring bagged pelletized feed.

Private Trails

The Lodge is located on 2,200 acres of private pastures and CRP. You are welcome to explore to your heart's content. Our pastures have signs on each gate, so you cannot get lost. Every pasture has a water source, although some tanks are turned off when cattle are moved to a new pasture.

Maah Daah Hey Trail The US Forest Service recently completed the Maah Daah Hey Trail. It boasts 100 miles of rugged terrain that winds through the North Dakota Badlands from Medora to the north unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. You can reach the trail by riding a few miles from the lodge to the Buffalo Gap Trailhead, or trailer your horses to any one of a number of other trail heads.
